Athens, Ga.-based indie rockers Family and Friends are set to embark on a brief summer tour in support of their upcoming EP, XOXO, which will be released on July 17 and was produced by Manchester Orchestra's Dan Hannon. Check out complete tour dates below or at the band's website.

Singer and guitarist Mike MacDonald said of the new EP:

Where our first EP 'Love You Mean It' focused thematically on love, the new EP 'XOXO' reflects on the motif of nostalgia. It’s a little bit darker and heavier in that respect I think. Lyrically, "Vestiges" is actually one of the more somber tracks off the EP, but musically it’s on the other end of the spectrum. I think it plays on that fine line of the bittersweetness of the recollection of a memory in that respect.

XOXO was recorded in Asheville, North Carolina, a hub for the rootsy type of folk-leaning indie rock the band creates; you can listen to "Vestiges" below:
