Feist Announces 2012 Tour Dates

Feist is proving herself to be quite a road warrior -- and a fan of warm weather. She began her latest tour in support of last year's 'Metals' release in February all the way down in Australia (where it was already summer), and she just added more European and North American dates to her trip around the globe.

Feist also loves fests. This year 'Mushaboom' songstress will be performing at the Pitchfork Music Festival, as well as Sasquatch, the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival, Bonnaroo, the Ann Arbor Summer Festival and several Canadian festivals.

Aside from 'Metals,' Feist has something else to shill on the road: her split with metal band Mastodon. Mastodon covered Feist's ‘A Commotion,’ and Feist reciprocated with her rendition of Mastodon’s ‘Black Tongue,’ a song from their latest release. The split will be released as a 7" single on April 21.

Feist will be joined on the road by some rather good company. Bon Iver, the Low Anthem, Timber Timbre and M. Ward will accompany the songstress on various dates of her extensive travels.
