Feist, ‘Anti-Pioneer’ – New Video

Four singles into her 'Metals' album and Feist has somewhat boldly selected 'Anti-Pioneer' as the latest to get video treatment. The track is an extremely sparse, casually loose groove that takes advantage of its excess of open space to showcase her phenomenal voice, which here sounds unusually vulnerable. The accompanying Martin de Thurah-directed clip, black and white and abstract all over, uses soft focus and the gorgeous contrast of dark and light to translate that emotion visually.
