No, we don't know what's up with those long album titles either, but we do know the latest one from Fiona Apple should be worth the time invested in trying to say it. 'The Idler Wheel...' (shortened from 23 words), Apple's first disc since 2005's 'Extraordinary Machine,' drops in June 2012, and first single 'Every Single Night' shows she hasn't lost a step as she whispers and coos her way though three-and-half minutes of stripped down keys and strings that drift along in near nursery rhyme-like simplicity.

It's an odd choice for a first single -- it doesn't seem to betray any indication of what the rest of 'Idler' will sound like -- but then again, Apple is a strange piece of fruit. Strange and extraordinary.
