Watch First Aid Kit's New Music Video for 'Stay Gold'

First Aid Kit get a natural yet vintage makeover in the duo's new music video, 'Stay Gold.' Watch it above.

While it might look like it was filmed on the west coast, Johanna and Klara Söderberg take us to the Swedish island of Gotland; directed by Alex Southam, the visual takes fans on a leisurely stroll through the landscape. Between the wide-shots of the scenery and closeups of the Söderberg sisters, the video matches perfectly with the ethereal and soothing sound that First Aid Kit are known for.

The music video for 'Stay Gold' isn't the only thing First Aid Kit have been up to. They recently announced that they have covered R.E.M.'s 'Walk Unafraid' for 'Wild,' a new film starring Reese Witherspoon. The movie soundtrack also features Bruce Springsteen, Simon & Garfunkel, Portishead and more.

“We are so honored to get to be a part of the beautiful and inspiring film 'Wild,'” the band said in a statement. “We have a lot of love for R.E.M's song 'Walk Unafraid,' which themes fit perfectly with the movie and the personal journey [the character] is on. We wanted to do something new with the song and created an acoustic arrangement with toms, cello and mandolin.”

First Aid Kit are currently on tour, which they kicked off in New York City on Oct. 24. Check out the dates below to find out when they'll be coming to a city near you.
