Florence + the Machine are headlining the Bestival festival overseas this September, and are having some fun with the announcement. Singer Florence Welch and her bandmates revealed the news via a video performance in which they appear in costume while performing a stripped-down version of the Talking Heads classic 'Wild Wild Life.'

Welch and her crew take the opening lyrics -- about wearing fur pajamas -- literally, with the singer donning a fox costume while her cohorts are dressed as a lion, penguin and rabbit.

Welch was selected to headline one of the nights by Rob da Bank, who is one of the curators for this year's event. He recalls, "The first time I met Flo, she was whirling around like a spinning top to a Paul Simon track at a party I was DJing at. I hadn't even heard her open her mouth, but she had this alluring vibe already. Once I heard her scratchy demo, I was sold and when she did her first radio session for me at Radio 1, I couldn't believe this flame-haired eccentric young lady had such a stunning voice."

Rob says that Welch's past appearances have always been among the best, and he considers it a coup to get her on board to headline this year. Welch and her band will join the xx, Stevie Wonder, New Order, Sigur Rós, Miike Snow, Two Door Cinema Club, Justice, Spiritualized, Bat for Lashes and more for the music weekend, which runs September 6-9 at the Robin Hill Country Park on the Isle of Wight.
