Florence + the Machine have been running at high gear lately, what with promoting their most recent studio set (2011's 'Ceremonials'), their recent live release ('MTV Unplugged,' out just last month), and keeping up with a busy tour schedule that found them headlining New York's Radio City Music Hall earlier this week. Somehow, they managed to squeeze in time for a visit to 'The Late Show With David Letterman' last night (May 9).

Florence and her crew stopped by to deliver a suitably epic rendition of 'No Light, No Light,' their most recent single from 'Ceremonials,' which you can watch below. Letterman quipped that Florence's last appearance on the show was solo because she couldn't get the Machine through customs, but everyone was definitely present and accounted for on Wednesday. Take a look and see if you don't agree.

As MTV observed in its review of the Radio City show, the band's 'Letterman' appearance was indicative of just how generally on fire they are right now -- the set found the audience "on their feet throughout an hour-long show in a venue that afforded the option of seating." Not a band way to spend a show.
