Electronic musician Flying Lotus appeared as the house DJ on the first episode of the new Comedy Central show, Why?, which stars rising comedian Hannibal Buress, and it turns out that will be a regular thing, as Flying Lotus is the full-time on-set musician for the show.

Check out the second episode of Why?, which features Flying Lotus, here, as long as you are able to sign in with a valid cable provider. He tweeted earlier today (July 21) that on the show, he will be playing "new s---" every Wednesday:

Flying Lotus was also just nominated for an MTV Video Music Award: His clip for “Never Catch Me” featuring Kendrick Lamar is up for both Best Choreography and Best Cinematography. Oh, and while we're on the subject of Flying Lotus videos, he managed to get Elijah Wood to star in his 2012 video for "Tiny Tortures."
