Flying Lotus, ‘Tiny Tortures’ – New Video

There’s certainly no shortage of Hollywood stars slumming it in indie rock music videos these days. Following the recent pairings of Jack Black and OFF!, Shia Labeouf and Sigur Ros and Lindsay Lohan and R.E.M. — to name just three — Elijah Wood stars as an amputee with a robotic arm made of random household items in the new David Lenandowsky-directed video for ‘Tiny Tortures’ by Flying Lotus.

“Enduring the acid-tinged hallucinations of the digital-age, this slow-motion trip explores the relationship between humans and machines,” reads a statement about the video. “As objects move and float, we enter a visual dream world – the culmination of Flying Lotus’ vivid songwriting and Lenandowsky’s surreal aesthetic.”

Trippy, indeed!
