In addition to the release of Songs From the Laundry Room, Record Store Day ambassador Dave Grohl is adding yet another reason why no one should skip out on this year’s event -- well, at least fans in Niles, Ohio. The Foo Fighters have announced a special performance at the Record Connection in Niles on RSD (April 18) at noon.

If you’d like to attend, here’s what you have to do: First, pre-order Songs From the Laundry Room from the Record Connection by visiting the store in-person to place your order. Pre-sales begin 10AM this Thursday, April 16. All pre-orders -- and subsequently tickets -- are limited to one per person and require a photo ID upon check-in at the store. Songs From the Laundry Room features a variety of Grohl and the Foo Fighters’ demos, including “Alone + Easy Target,” “Big Me” and the previously unreleased “Empty Handed.” Grohl says the forthcoming 10" is only a small sample of his collection of demos and rarities chronicling his 30-year career.

“It was just something to do in between tours when I was playing with Nirvana,” he recently said in an interview. “By the time Nirvana was over, I had, I don’t know, 20, 30, 40 of these recordings that no one had ever heard. There’s a lot more than just those [Laundry Room] songs. I think the songs that we picked for the Record Store Day album were maybe picked out of 15 or 20 others that no one’s ever heard.”
