One of our favorite bands of the 21st century, the Gaslight Anthem, returns with a new album in August. 'Get Hurt' marks the New Jersey's band follow-up to 2012's 'Handwritten,' and its fifth album overall.

The group announced the new on its Facebook page earlier today.

They also unveiled the album's cover art, a new tour and a short video clip for the new record that features a tough-sounding new song. You can watch it above.

'Get Hurt' will be released on Aug. 19. It was recorded in Nashville, and the press release announcing the album says that the Gaslight Anthem are pushing "their raw, stripped-back rock 'n' roll into new territory, drawing on a fresh palette of influences ranging across folk, punk and Americana. It is an album that is heavier, and yet at the same time more intimate, than anything they have produced to date."

'Handwritten' gave the group its first Top 10 album when it debuted at No. 3. In addition to the new album, the band has unveiled a bunch of concerts that start a few weeks after the record's release. Here's a complete list of dates.
