Diffuser.fm has teamed up with Boston alt-rockers Gentlemen Hall to premiere the vivid stop-motion animation video for 'Every Morning.' It'll remind you of the glory days when claymation ruled MTV!

Waking up is hard to do. Getting out of bed and rousing oneself from a restful slumber to face life is the worst part of the day. This video follows an exhausted protagonist who is craving sleep. He has good hygiene -- he flosses! -- and resembles Ernie from Bert and Ernie, and he's on a quest to return to his bed and slip back into a dreamland of the psychedelic sort. He does have some fun along the way, though!

Our clay-made buddy can barely keep his eyes open but in his tired state, he gets creative and cannibalizes his own creation, among other things.

Gentlemen Hall met the video's creator, Tom Megalis, who they describe as "crazy and talented," while working on their new album in an abandoned graphite factory in Cleveland.

"We loved his claymation work he did in the '90s on MTV and thought, 'Wouldn't it be cool if he could do a video for us?'" the band tells Diffuser.fm.
That thought became a reality!

We won't spoil the rest of the video for you. It will mess with your mind, thanks to the bold, bright graphics. It's certainly trippy.
