After the release of 'The Dark Horse Years' 10 years ago, George Harrison fans will be able to add another piece to their collection with 'The Apple Years 1968-75.'

The eight-disc box edition will include digitally remastered versions of 'Wonderwall Music,' 'Electronic Sound,' 'All Things Must Pass', 'Living In The Material World,' 'Dark Horse' and 'Extra Texture (Read All About It).' It will also include an exclusive book that will feature an introduction by his son Dhani Harrison, essays by radio producer and author Kevin Howlett and rare, previously unpublished photos of the late artist. There will also be a DVD in the set that will include a seven-minute film featuring unreleased footage of Harrison.

"I am so happy that what we started a decade ago by releasing 'The Dark Horse Years' is now complete with the release of his first six albums as 'The Apple Years,'" Dhani, who oversaw the project, says in a statement issued today (Sept. 2). "Some of these records have long been out of print, and so I cannot wait for music lovers to get their hands on these newly remastered versions. It's a very proud moment for us, and I would like to thank everyone who has helped us in any way to achieve this."

For fans who only have their eyes on one of the LPs, Universal Music Group has you covered by offering each of the albums individually as well. 'The Dark Horse Years' will released on Sept. 23 via Capitol/UM, but fans can pre-order the box set or the single albums here.
