When you go solo, you get to check off a whole new batch of firsts -- and the most recent for Gerard Way is his first-ever BBC session without My Chemical Romance.

Way performed four cuts on Daniel P. Carter's 'Rock Show' from the Maida Vale district in London. You can hear Way and his band play 'Action Cat,' 'Millions,' 'No Shows' and 'Get the Gang Together' below.

All the songs come from Way's solo debut, 'Hesitant Alien,' which dropped in September. It's Way's first studio effort after the members of My Chemical Romance went their separate ways last year. Read our review here.
