At the end of last month, My Morning Jacket unveiled a trippy video for their latest single, “Compound Fracture,” and now, Giorgio Moroder -- who just recently made a comeback with Déjà Vu over the summer -- has gotten his hands on the song and transformed the Louisville rockers’ psychedelic signature into a grandiose EDM club track. Take a listen above.

Moroder’s Déjà Vu arrived back in June, his first album in 30 years. Unlike his remixes -- which have also included Coldplay’s “Midnight” -- his choices in collaborators were more knowing. Britney Spears, Kylie Minogue, Sia, Charli XCX and Mikky Ekko all make appearances on the newly minted LP.

“Compound Fracture” was included on My Morning Jacket’s most recent full-length, The Waterfall, which landed last spring. The band plans to release a follow-up in the coming year.

Tonight (Oct. 13), My Morning Jacket will play a show at the Shrine Auditorium in L.A. with Dr. Dog and Fruit Bats. That will be followed by a three-night residency at the Masonic in San Francisco. Then, they’re set to make stops in San Diego; Phoenix; Austin and Grand Prairie, Texas; Philadelphia; and Boston. They’ll conclude their tour with a four-night run at the Beacon Theatre in New York City. Get more information right here.
