‘Girls’ Season 2 Trailer – What’s the Song?

‘Girls’ is gearing up for its second season, scheduled for a Jan 15. premiere. The new trailer for the HBO comedy-drama series features ‘Anything Could Happen’ by Ellie Goulding.

The British singer’s catchy anthem pairs nicely with the show’s plot, which highlights the struggles and triumphs of an eclectic group of twenty-somethings who moved to New York after college to follow their dreams. The series achieved critical acclaim in its first season, as many find the characters believable and easy to relate to.

The tune is from Goulding’s sophomore record, ‘Halcyon,’ which dropped back in October via Cherrytree/Interscope Records. It also recently appeared in a commercial for Dr. Dre’s ‘Beats by Dre’ headphones.
