Watch Gomez’s Ben Ottewell Perform a Solo Set in New York City

Ben Ottewell – one of the three singer-guitarists for English indie rockers Gomez – released his sophomore solo album, Rattlebag, last year. Recently, he brought his signature gravely vocals and impressive guitar work to City Winery in New York for a captivating One on One session. Rattlebag follows the English singer-songwriter’s debut solo effort, Shapes & Shadows, which arrived back in 2011. That same year, Ottewell also put out Gomez’s most recent full-length, Whatever’s on Your Mind.

Following his stop in New York, Ottewell has a handful of North American tour dates scheduled. He’ll make his way to Nashville’s City Winery tonight (March 14), with more stops planned for L.A., SXSW and Toronto. You can get his full tour itinerary at his official website.
