In the latest Nexus commercial, Google urges customers to explore all of their unanswered questions with their new line of tablets, available in three sizes. The song featured in the ad is ‘Sleep on Needles’ by Norwegian singer-songwriter Sondre Lerche.

The tune was originally released on Lerche’s debut album, ‘Faces Down,’ which hit stores back in 2002. The record was reissued earlier this year via Virgin Norway in honor of the artist’s 30th birthday (Sept. 5). The rerelease includes several bonus tracks and a demo outtake.

In addition to being featured in the Google Nexus ad (below), Lerche’s work has made many other popular appearances. He wrote and sang the complete soundtrack for the 2007 film ‘Dan in Real Life,’ which included a collaboration with Regina Spektor. Additionally, his song ‘Dear Laughing Doubters’ was used in the soundtrack for the 2010 movie ‘Dinner for Schmucks,’ and ‘Mr. Bassman’ appeared on Disney’s ‘Muppets: The Green Album’ in 2011.

The singer recently wrapped up a U.S. headlining tour and is currently on the road in Norway. Check out his official website for more information.
