What's love got to do with it? Nothing when it comes to hot, sweaty lust. And while there are certainly some straight-up love songs out there, fact is, 98.7 percent of them are really lust songs. Just take away the sweet talk, and you'll see the true intentions behind them. The songs on our list of 5 Great Lyrics About Lust don't even bother hiding their desires -- you know what you're getting from them. Give them points for honesty.

    The Undertones, 'Teenage Kicks'

"I'm gonna call her on the telephone / Invite her over because I'm all alone / I need excitement, and I need it bad / And it's the best I've ever had / I wanna hold you tight / Get teenage kicks right through the night."

These Irish punks don't even bother with the mushy sweet talk on their debut single, told from the perspective of hormone-fueled kids. They're bored, horny and need some lovin', like, now. Or maybe later tonight. Whatever works for you. Teenagers ...

The Cure, 'Let's Go to Bed'

"Let me take your hands, I'm shaking like milk / Turning blue / All over the windows and the floors / Fires outside in the sky look as perfect as cats / The two of us together again."

Robert Smith claimed he wrote 'Let's Go to Bed' as a goof on pop music's usual take on the subject of lust. Whatever the case, the song -- propelled by one of the Cure's springiest melodies -- is all about casting aside differences, anxieties, etc. for a little bedroom romp.

Dave Matthews Band, 'Crash Into Me'

"Come crash into me, baby, and I come into you / Hike up your skirt a little more, and show your world to me."

Dave Matthews doesn't beat around the bush when it comes to what he wants in one his best love, er ... lust, songs. He's said 'Crash Into Me' was written from a stalker's view of a crush, but he's also said it's a song about worshiping women. Either way, dude gets his freak on.

    Liz Phair, 'Flower'

"Every time I see your face, I get all wet between my legs / Every time you pass me by, I heave a sigh of pain / Every time I see your face, I think of things unpure, unchaste / I want to f--k you like a dog / I'll take you home and make you like it."

These are actually some of 'Flower''s least-graphic lines (click the link below to see what we mean). But what do you expect from an album that Liz Phair claimed was an answer to the Rolling Stones' raunch classic 'Exile on Main St.'?

    Nine Inch Nails, 'Closer'

"You let me violate you /You let me desecrate you / You let me penetrate you / You let me complicate you ... / I want to f--k you like an animal / I want to feel you from the inside."

No surprise that Trent Reznor has a pretty screwed-up view of lust, which comes off dirty, humiliating and a power move in 'Closer.' He brings animal desire to its literal point in this Nine Inch Nails classic. In the end, it's also a religious experience: "You get me closer to God."
