Green Day have issued a brand-new official band photo (via Twitter) ahead of their forthcoming three-album blitz known as '¡Uno!,' '¡Dos!,' and '¡Tre!' trilogy -- and it's a pretty sweet shot. Frontman Billie Joe Armstrong and the boys mug for the cameras with their typical goofy faces in the picture, which we assume is a punk-rock band version of a high school yearbook shot.

The band has been keeping rather busy as of late, gearing up for the trio of discs first by releasing 'Oh Love' as the lead single off '¡Uno!,' announcing plans for an 'Oh Love' EP coming out via Walmart and also reissuing all eight of their previous full-length studio albums as a massive box set collection. They also recently released a live video for the tune 'Let Yourself Go,' which you can check out here.

Meanwhile, Armstong himself has signed up to be a mentor on 'The Voice' starting this fall, and to be honest, we can't wait to see how that turns out. If it doesn't work out, no worries -- we've come up with our own list of 10 other rockers we would love to see as mentors on 'The Voice.'
