Green Day's ' ¡Uno!' '¡Dos!' '¡Tre!' album trilogy is launching in September, continuing with the second album in November and wrapping in January of next year. The California band will set the table for this ambitious and much anticipated undertaking with the first single, called 'Oh Love.'

The song is set to impact radio on July 16 and will be available for purchase via all digital retailers that same day. That means you'll be hearing it very soon.

Green Day have come a long way from being early Warped Tour punk rockers. They saw their seventh opus, 2004's 'American Idiot,' turned into a rock opera/Broadway musical, and clearly, they know no boundaries when it comes to creatively pushing themselves.

The trilogy will be issued via longtime label Reprise, with '¡Uno!' landing on Sept. 25, followed by '¡Dos!,' which drops on Nov. 23.' ¡Tre!' is on schedule to street on Jan. 15 of 2013. One can't help but wonder if drummer Tre Cool is partial to ¡Tre!,' since he sort of shares a name with the last album in the trilogy.

The band, also a trio, will headline an array of festivals before and during the release slate, including a headline spot at Summer Sonic over in Japan. Green Day will also top the annual Voodoo Festival, which is held in New Orleans, La. every October.
