We’re a little less than a month away from the Oct. 7 release of Green Day’s 12th album, Revolution Radio. Today (Sept. 9), they’ve released the second song, and it’s the title track. You can check it out above.

As with the first single, “Bang Bang,” they told the world by posting a lyric video on Facebook. “NEW MUSIC!” they wrote. “’Revolution Radio,’” the title track to the upcoming album is now available! Check out the lyric video below and pre-order at http://smarturl.it/REVRAD and get the song instantly. #REVRAD.”

As with 2004’s American Idiot, the songs on Revolution Radio are inspired by today’s headlines. The group produced the record themselves, the first time they’ve done that since 2000’s Warning. “This time I just wanted to feel the freedom of just depending on ourselves and getting in a room,” lead singer Billie Joe Armstrong said. “There’s no in-between person and we’re forced to sort of be in there with each other. So it was really interesting to kind of see how everybody interfaced with each other.

Green Day are, for the seventh time in their career, on the cover of the new Rolling Stone, which, according to a press release, hits newsstands today. Also featured in the issue is an article by political writer Matt Taibbi called “How [Donald] Trump Lost His Mojo,” a notion that should appeal to  Armstrong, considering he recently compared the Republican presidential nominee to Adolf Hitler.

Earlier this week, Green Day announced a month-long club tour of North America to begin on Sept. 20 in St. Louis, with European dates to follow in early 2017. You can see their calendar here and get complete ticket information at Green Day’s website.
