The teens in Guards' 'Ready to Go' video are ready to go -- are you?

The trio's stylish, black and white video for 'Ready to Go' feels like a scrapbook from the 1960s come to life. Images and props from another era -- things like old-fashioned cars and vintage two-piece bathing suits -- perfectly fit the retro sound of the song.

The kids in the clip are having one helluva summer -- experimenting with romance, exchanging longing looks, devouring ice cream cones and skinny-dipping at night. It's a true coming-of-age video that stops the clock a little.

The band is MIA -- there's no footage of them performing spliced with the narrative scenery -- but that's okay. We don't really need them, since the kids who are coming of age do the song justice and get the point across.
