Last week, VH1 held its You Oughta Know concert at the Roseland Ballroom in NYC. It’s the first in a series highlighting up-and-coming talent, so it’s only appropriate that both L.A. indie-pop darlings Haim and New Zealand songstress Lorde took the stage. However, viewers may not have anticipated the four buzzed-about ladies teaming up for a cover of Sheryl Crow’s ‘Strong Enough.’

With both Lorde’s No. 1 hit ‘Royals’ and Haim’s critically-lauded debut, ‘Days Are Gone,’ still fresh on people’s minds, the foursome’s rendition of the Sheryl Crow hit is truly a force to be reckoned with. Lorde lends her gravely vocals, while the eldest Haim sister, Este, throws some glass bottle playing into the mix.

If you missed the show, which aired last night (Nov. 21) on VH1, don’t fret! Catch it in the video above.
