Earlier this week, Hannah Miller celebrated the release of her self-titled full-length effort, a self-described "raw" album that doesn't "sound too shiny." Today (May 8), Diffuser is thrilled to partner with the Tennessee-based singer-songwriter for the debut of her music video for the record's opening track, “Help Me Out” -- check it out above.

“This song is really special to me. It’s one I wrote right after recording my EP in 2012, and I immediately loved it and wanted to put it out there in the world, but I had to wait three years to do so,” Miller tells us about “Help Me Out.” “To me, it’s a song about the struggle between what we want and what we know we really need, deep down. Sometimes getting what you want is a lot more fun or attractive than getting what you need, so it can be hard to make the choice that is best in the long run.”

The video for “Help Me Out” is squarely focused on Miller and her hauntingly beautiful vocals. “I worked with my longtime collaborator and good friend Patrick Coker at JiveTurkey Productions, out of Columbia, South Carolina,” she explains. “I was in town for a show and we filmed the video in a couple hours right before soundcheck. Patrick does awesome work and produced two of my previous music videos, so it was great to work with him again on this. We wanted to go of a pretty stark and honest aesthetic, and make it less story-driven and more artsy. I’m really happy with how it turned out!”
