As we previously learned, Aljeandra Deheza -- the sole surviving member of School of Seven Bells -- has plans to release one final album comprised of music the dream-pop duo recorded prior to Benjamin Curtis’ death in 2013. Today (Nov. 12), she has shared “Open Your Eyes,” the very first song from the forthcoming LP. Take a listen in the video above (via Noisey).

“Open Your Eyes” will appear on SVIIB when it lands on Feb. 12 via Vagrant Records. It follows the New York City two-piece’s 2012 full-length, Ghostory, 2010’s Disconnect From Desire and their 2008 debut, Alpinisms. Previously, in a statement, Deheza dedicated the record to her late bandmate and their fans.

“This is a love letter from start to finish,” she said. “It’s the story of us starting from that first day we met in 2004, and that’s the story of School of Seven Bells. So much love to all of you. Thank you for being a constant light in our lives. This record is for you.”

Curtis passed at the age of 35 in December of 2013 from T-cell lymphoblastic lymphoma.
