Brooklyn trio Hospitality continue their slide into relatively dark sonic terrain on 'Rockets and Jets,' the second song they've unveiled from their forthcoming sophomore effort, 'Trouble.' Unlike 'I Miss Your Bones,' which arrived in November with a flourish of choppy guitars and bass, this new tune is built on chilly synths -- an uncharacteristic sound for this formerly twee-leaning indie-pop group.

According to a seemingly spot-on press release, the new record "creates a space where conflicting sentiments and experiences are given room to coexist, where small and seemingly mundane observations pose big questions that hang in the air, unanswered and unanswerable."

'Trouble' lands on Jan. 28 via Merge.
