Imagine Dragons Release Remixes for ‘It’s Time’
Imagine Dragons continue to tear up the charts with ‘It’s Time,’ the first single off their debut EP, ‘Continued Silence,’ and the Sin City-based indie rockers now have a handful of remixes to go along with the original. Newly remixed versions of ‘It’s Time’ include takes by U.K.-based house music producer and remixer Kat Krazy, New York singer/producer Chris Glover (aka Penguin Prison), up-and-coming producer Jailbreaks from Richmond, Va., and a tag team from Jailbreaks featuring fellow producer StunGun. The above four ‘It’s Time’ remixes aren’t even all of them. The German production duo FamTies and Minneapolis-based dubstep DJ Vaski are among several other musicians who have tried their hands at alternate takes on the track, which has blown up since dropping earlier this year.
‘It’s Time’ has since peaked at No. 4 on the Alternative Songs chart and crossed over to No. 81 on the Billboard 200. It has been featured in the trailer for the flick ‘The Perks of Being a Wallflower’ and even was played during the introductions for both Wimbledon 2012 and this summer’s Major League Baseball All-Star Game. Additionally, the video is up for Best Rock Video at the 2012 MTV Video Music Awards.
