Yep, Morrissey wrote these mystery lyrics:

They come from the song 'Break Up the Family,' which can be found on his 1988 debut solo album 'Viva Hate.' And yes, we're a little shocked that Morrissey would pen and sing such warm, caring words. After all, this is a guy who, while recovering from a couple of illnesses that have delayed his current tour about 17 times now, still found time to pick fights with Jimmy Kimmel and a venue over their meaty food options.
