Watch Jack White Throw Out the First Pitch at a Tigers Game

Looks like somebody had a much better time at the old ball game.

After making the face that launched a thousand memes at a Chicago Cubs game last week, Jack White tossed out the ceremonial first pitch before his hometown Detroit Tigers hosted the Chicago White Sox Tuesday at Comerica Park.

Although he looked understandably nervous in the moments leading up to it, White seemed in good spirits before he wound up and tossed a pretty decent pitch (albeit a little short) from the mound to the only person who looked more out of place at the stadium than he did: Santa Claus (who was there as part of a Christmas in July promotion).

All of it’s even more surprising when you consider White stormed offstage a half hour into his concert the previous night at the Fox Theatre just across the street.

Check out White’s big day at the ballpark below. By the way, the Tigers lost 11-4.
