Jack White Headlines ‘Gourmet’ Outside Lands Festival

Now in its fifth year, San Francisco's Outside Lands Festival is bringing a variety of tastes to the Bay Area on August 10-12, with sweet-and-sour Jack White, the savory Foo Fighters, and spicy Beck appearing as top acts -- and a whole smorgasbord of West Coast food and drink, suitable to the country's only "gourmet" festival--check the full line-up below.

Mainstream treats include Stevie Wonder, Metallica, and Neil Young and Crazy Horse. A hundred restraunts, food trucks and other vendors will keep attendees' tummies full, and the 40-plus wineries in attendance will ensure everyone of proper drinking age will have something to sip on.

The rest of the concert bill a great big indie rock potluck: Sigur Ros, Justice, and Explosions in the Sky will each bring a transcendent sorbet, Alabama Shakes will stomp through southern-fried jams, Passion Pit will provide high-fructose corn syrup, Andrew Bird will create a spare-yet-ornate sonic souffle, and Bloc Party and Yacht will bring enough dance rock space cake for everyone. Regina Spektor will make sure everyone gets back safe: make sure to text her when you get home. She worries, you know.
