Jack White is preparing to make his live debut as a solo artist on 'Saturday Night Live' on March 3. To get fans hyped for his upcoming performance, the musician is appearing in a new promo for this Saturday's sketch show, which will be hosted by actress Lindsay Lohan.

In the 'SNL' video ad, the former White Stripes frontman is pictured with Lohan and cast member Andy Samberg. While Jack White isn't a novice in the acting realm -- he had a cameo role as Elvis Presley in the comedy 'Walk Hard: The Dewey Cox Story' and also portrayed a soldier in the war drama 'Cold Mountain' -- he keeps a stoic demeanor as Lohan and Samberg go back and forth with the majority of the jokes... except for when he disses their incredibly lame handshake.

For his 'Saturday Night Live' gig, White is slated to perform new tracks from his forthcoming solo LP 'Blunderbuss,' which is due on April 23. The album, which will be released through White's label Third Man Records in conjunction with XL, boasts 13 tracks and was produced entirely by White, who recorded 'Blunderbuss' at his Third Man Studio in Nashville.

After his 'SNL' gig, White will hit the road for a series of solo shows, which will kick off on March 10 in Chattanooga, Tenn. at Track 29. Shows are also scheduled on March 12, March 13, and March 15 in Birmingham, Ala., Memphis, Tenn., and Tulsa, Okla., respectively. White will also perform at Radio 1's Hackney Weekend on June 23 and June 24 alongside acts like Lana Del Rey and Florence + the Machine.
