Jack White is already known as an expert party planner—after all, last summer he even threw a shindig to commemorate his divorce from singer/songwriter Karen Elson. But the former vocalist/guitarist of the White Stripes is celebrating his solo career—and label, Third Man Records—with a South By Southwest showcase.

Billed as the Third Man Records Texas Showdown, the March 16 concert will feature a solo set from White and performances by labelmates the Black Belles, Pujol, John Reilly & Friends (who feature Becky Stark and Tom Brosseau) and Lanie Lane. Elson will also be performing at the showcase, which takes place at the Stage On Sixth in downtown Austin.

Third Man Records’ pop-up record shop, dubbed the Rolling Record Store, is also scheduled to be hanging around SXSW beginning on March 14. To suss out its location, follow the mobile store on Twitter.

White’s solo full-length debut, ‘Blunderbuss,’ is out April 23 via Third Man. He recently appeared on ‘Saturday Night Live’ to perform two songs from it, ‘Sixteen Saltines’ and ‘Love Interruption.’ Watch the former below.
