There are many words that could describe former White Stripes frontman Jack White. Adjectives include creative, eclectic, odd, brilliant, under or overrated and more. Hip-hop mogul Jay-Z has another descriptor for White: insane.

Speaking after his press conference announcing the first-ever 'Budweiser Made In America' festival in Philadelphia, Penn., Hova talked to Billboard about the event. He couldn't reveal the lineup just yet but spoke highly of Jack White when his name was brought up.

"Jack White is insane - he's an insane musician," says Jay-Z, whose real name is Shawn Carter. "And there's no setlist from what I understand. He just pulls out a song and they have to be ready. Which must take an insane amount of practice."

Indeed that is the case. Not only does White change the setlist everyday, he uses a different band for each stop. One is all-male while the other is all-female, and decides at breakfast each morning which band he will use. That proved quite the challenge for actor/director Gary Oldman when he directed the live webcast of White's 'American Express: Unstaged' special.

Carter expressed his admiration for the series: "We went to Spotted Pig afterward and we spoke on that a bit with Gary Oldman and Jack White. They're doing a great job with those concerts, whoever's curating that."

White enjoyed his first No. 1 album when he released his solo effort, 'Blunderbuss,' a few weeks ago. The Third Man Records owner is currently on the road promoting the record with a string of sold out North American dates. He will also appear at the Firefly Music Festival in Dover, Del. this July and Lollapalooza in Chicago, Ill. a month later.
