Fans of Wilco and Fargo were in for a treat during Monday night’s (Nov. 9) episode of the FX series. Frontman Jeff Tweedy helped pay tribute to the Coen brothers’ movie of the same name by covering a song from the 1996 film.

For the show’s latest episode, Tweedy covered José Feliciano’s “Let’s Find Each Other Tonight.” Feliciano appeared in the original Fargo, performing the song at a nightclub. Steve Buscemi's character gives props to the singer during the scene, which can be viewed at the bottom of the page.

Tweedy’s rendition of the song is the TV show's latest musical moment to tip its hat to the Coen brothers' repertoire. Series creator Noah Hawley has made a point to incorporate elements of the directors' movie soundtracks into his own show.

“I got it into my head that would be something interesting to play around with in our flirtation with the Coen's body of work,” Hawley told International Business Times.

Apparently, Hawley originally asked Tweedy to cover the Eagles’ “Peaceful Easy Feeling,” but the Wilco leader opted for the Feliciano tune instead.
