Wilco frontman Jeff Tweedy has announced that he will embark on a U.S. tour beginning in Detroit on June 5 that will go through the end of July, with its last date at the Newport Folk Festival.

What’s more, Tweedy will unveil new material from his upcoming debut solo album throughout the tour. You can see the full itinerary below.

Tweedy hasn't revealed the release date or any other details regarding the album, but he will be joined on tour by a new backing bad that includes his son Spencer on drums, along with guitarist Jim Elkington, bassist Darin Gray and keyboardist Liam Cunningham.

In addition to new solo material, Tweedy and company will also perform acoustic sets of Wilco and Uncle Tupelo material.
