Listen to the Title Track of Jenny Lewis’ New Album, ‘The Voyager’

Jenny Lewis
Warner Bros.

Since releasing ‘Just One of the Guys’ last month, we’ve been anxious to hear more from Jenny Lewis. And now the wait is over! The former Rilo Kiley frontwoman has just shared the title track to her upcoming album, ‘The Voyager.’

After a lush string section starts the song, Lewis takes us straight into her world with simple acoustic guitar and her angelic voice on this sweet ballad.

Check it out:

By the time I got your letter / I lost my mind, I was trippin’ / When you gettin’ better / it’s a jack in line / Nothing lasts forever when you travel time / I’ve been sippin’ that Kool-Aid in the cosmos,” she delicately sings in the first verse, pulling us into the track.

‘The Voyager,’ the song, brings us back to our childhood with its Peter Pan-like lyrics. ‘The Voyager,’ the album (Lewis’ third solo record), comes out on July 29. And we can’t wait.
