In 1969, the very first Gap store opened its doors in San Francisco. That same year, Jimi Hendrix recorded the music heard on 'People, Hell and Angels,' a new album featuring 12 previously unreleased gems from the late guitar god. What's the connection? Sony is unearthing the unheard Jimi jams just as the popular clothing retailer celebrates Hendrix's 70th birthday with a series of limited-edition T-shirts. Coincidence? Maybe, but we're inclined to believe there are some cosmic forces at work here.

Together with our friends at Ultimate Classic Rock, we're also getting into the Hendrix spirit and giving away four prize packs, each of which comes with two of these groovy Gap garments -- one for men, one for women -- as well as vinyl and CD copies of 'People, Hell and Angels.'
