Wealthy Beatles superfans now have the chance to own a one-of-a-kind John Lennon artifact, as the late singer’s childhood home is set to go up for auction. Located in at 9 Newcastle Rd. in Liverpool, England, Lennon’s former house will go on sale on Oct. 29, and according to Contact Music, it’s expected to sell for somewhere between $225,000 (£150,000) and $375,000 (£250,000). Kurt Cobain and Eminem’s respective childhood homes also went up for sale recently.

The current owner of the Lennon house – which the Beatles legend lived for the first five years of his life – claims to have left all of its original features intact so they “reflect the 1960s period, when the Beatles wowed the whole world with their rock and roll music.”

“The main structure of the house and features, such as the original Victorian sliding sash windows, are as they were when John Lennon lived here with his parents and his grandparents from 1940 onwards,” added the owner, who has not bee named publically.

After leaving the house, Lennon lived with his aunt and uncle, Mimi and George Smith, in Woolton, a suburb of Liverpool located in the southern part of the city. As the auction listing points out, the three-bedroom, two-story home is located near Penny Lane, immortalized in a Beatles song of the same name, and it’s believed Lennon returned to the residence years later to write ‘One After 909.’
