Johnny Marr Unveils New Song, ‘The Right Thing Right’

Last month Johnny Marr unveiled the video for the title track from his forthcoming debut solo album, 'The Messenger,' and now he's issued the audio from another tune, 'The Right Thing Right.' The former Smiths guitarist previously announced a Feb. 26 release date for the disc, which he recorded in Berlin and his hometown of Manchester, England.

"I felt if I was going to make the record I needed to make, then I had to go back to the environment that shaped me musically," Marr, who now lives in the United States, recently told Rolling Stone. "It was just about reconnecting with a certain energy that shapes you as a musician -- almost picking up where you started off, not where you left off."
