The Jon Spencer Blues Explosion are bounding back into action with a brand new LP this year. 'Freedom Tower -- No Wave Dance Party 2015' is set to hit the streets on March 24 via Mom + Pop. The record was recorded at the Daptone House of Soul in Bushwick, Brookyln.

"New York City is a big place. A loud place. Some of that noise is music. And some of the music is noise," reads a statement on the band's Facebook page. "Sucking it all in and turning it loose with prejudice, the Jon Spencer Blues Explosion takes a ferocious bite out of the Big Apple with their new long-player, 'Freedom Tower -- No Wave Dance Party 2015,' the first record of the new era that demands to be stopped and frisked!" This is the band's first new LP since 2012's 'Meat & Bone.'

JSBX have given us a taste of things with a new visual collage of sorts for the track 'Do the Get Down,' which plays out like a mini history of New York City in all its gory glory. Blink and you'll miss an onslaught of a who's who from the good ol' days in NYC, with famous politicians, rappers, rockers and criminals making cameos. The Ramones, Dead Boys, Public Enemy, Crazy Eddie and Son of Sam are but a few of the mugs flashed across the screen. Musically, the band is cookin', summoning up that old Blues Explosion fire. Watch and listen below:
