Jonny Greenwood Debuts Unreleased Radiohead Song, ‘Spooks’

Last month when Radiohead guitarist Jonny Greenwood announced the track list for his work on the upcoming Paul Thomas Anderson movie, ‘Inherent Vice,’ included was a previously unreleased Radiohead song called ‘Spooks.’ Greenwood has now premiered the song -- which is performed by Supergrass' Gaz Coombes and Danny Goffey with spoken-word portions from singer-songwriter and the film’s narrator Joanna Newsom -- on Stereogum. The ‘Inherent Vice’ soundtrack arrives Dec. 15 via Nonesuch, and the movie -- based on the Thomas Pynchon novel of the same name -- hits theaters on Jan. 9. Watch the movie's trailer above, and then check out the soundtrack album art below.
