The iconic cover to this 1979 debut album from post-punk legends Joy Division was taken from an edition of the 'Cambridge Encyclopedia of Astronomy' and portrays in linear form successive pulses from the first pulsar star discovered -- whatever that means. The cover recently made headlines when Disney created a Joy Division-inspired Mickey Mouse T-shirt.
