Watch Kanye West Discuss His Admiration for Caitlyn Jenner on ‘I Am Cait’ Premiere

Yesterday (July 26) saw the premiere of E!’s I Am Cait, the reality show documenting Caitlyn Jenner’s transition as a transgender woman. The first episode explored Jenner’s relationships with her children, including daughter Kim Kardashian and son-in-law Kanye West. On the debut episode, West offered Jenner kind words of admiration. “I think this is one of the strongest things that have happened in our existence as human beings that are so controlled by perception,” West says to Jenner in the clip.

“You couldn’t have been up against more,” he continues. “Your daughter’s a supermodel. You’re a celebrity at every type of thing, and it was still like, ‘F--- everyone, this is who I am.’”

Of course, it wouldn’t be reality television with the Kardashians if there wasn't some product-shilling, too. West made sure to show off his sneakers, new-fangled footwear he described as “sock-shoes.”

This past weekend, West debuted the music video for “All Day / I Feel Like That” at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art. Directed by Steve McQueen (Shame, 12 Years a Slave), the single-take short film features the two new tracks, which are presumed to appear on the rapper's upcoming album, SWISH.
