It’s been about four months since Karen O released her debut solo effort, ‘Crush Songs,’ on the Strokes frontman Julian Casablancas’ label, Cult Records. Now, the Yeah Yeah Yeahs singer has unveiled a video to go along with album single, ‘Days Go By.’

The sun-drenched clip follows a young couple sharing their affection over long rides on motor bikes, dips in pools and the like. The new video’s narrative ties in well with Karen O’s latest LP, as the singer said much of ‘Crush Songs’ was written about her own experiences with being young and in love.

“When I was 27, I crushed a lot. I wasn’t sure I’d ever fall in love again,” she said. “These songs were written and recorded in private around this time. They are the soundtrack to what was an ever continuing love crusade.”
