Muse's live run through of the official theme song of the 2012 Olympics during Sunday's closing ceremony in London wasn't the only musical segment cut from NBC's rebroadcast of the show here in the States. Classic rockers Ray Davies and the Who also had live performances left off, while a clip featuring interpretive dancers swaying along to a prerecorded version of reclusive British alternative rocker Kate Bush's 'Running Up That Hill' also got the ax. Lucky for you, a clip of it has surfaced online.

Bush re-recorded 'Running Up That Hill' -- her only hit ever to see the Top 40 here in the States -- specifically for the ceremony, which featured a large contingent of dancers getting down to the tune, albeit in an artsy, modern dance sort of way. She doesn't actually appear in the production at all, but her spirit is alive and well as a hill of sorts is literally constructed in the middle of the Olympic Stadium. Bush has released the updated version of the tune, officially titled 'Running Up That Hill (A Deal With God) 2012 REMIX,' via iTunes and other digital retailers, but it doesn't seem to be available in the U.S.
