KFC recently unveiled a new commercial for Dip’ems, “freshly prepared tenders dipped in irresistible sauces.” The catchy, upbeat tune playing in the background bears a striking resemblance to ‘Dance Yrself Clean’ by LCD Soundsystem -- but a closer listen reveals that it is most likely a rip-off as opposed to the original.

‘Dance Yrself Clean’ is a track from the band’s 'This Is Happening' album, which hit stores in 2010. LCD also performed the song during their epic final show at Madison Square Garden back in April. Check out both the commercial and song below to compare.

This isn’t the first time LCD's work is believed to have been copied for commercial use. Earlier this year, a song that sounded suspiciously like their dance tune ‘Daft Punk Is Playing at My House' was featured in a T.G.I. Friday’s ad for an appetizer/entree special.

Other bands have encountered similar issues with reported plagiarism. Several months ago, a knock-off of the song ‘Take Care’ by the Baltimore-based group Beach House was used in a Volkswagen commercial, and the band members were none too pleased about it.
