Kim and Kanye Engaged: Yeezy Reportedly Rents Out Stadium to Propose
What do you get the reality television star who has everything? Kanye West came up with a pretty great answer for Kim Kardashian's 33rd birthday: an engagement ring. E! Online reports that the hip-hop titan rented out AT&T Park in San Francisco -- yes, that's right, the entire stadium -- in order to propose to Kim. No word on why exactly he needed all that room in order to pop the question, but then again, Kanye isn't exactly one for doing things halfway.
While the details of Kim and Kanye's engagement will probably remain (somewhat) secret, we like to imagine he went all out for the occasion, perhaps hiring a marching band or a circus troupe to keep her entertained while he pulled out the ring.
The duo are in the Bay Area for the San Jose stop on Kanye's Yeezus Tour, which has been generating all the expected amounts of controversy since kicking off in Seattle on Oct. 19 -- not just because of what's on the road (Confederate flag merch, a Jesus impersonator), but because of what's off (Kanye himself, who abruptly postponed until Oct. 31).
This will be the third marriage for Kim, who was previously wed to Damon Thomas from 2000-04 and Kris Humphries between 2011-13. West was engaged once before, to designer Alexis Phifer. No date's been announced for the wedding, but it's sure to be the social event of the season -- and given Kim's fondness for selfies, perhaps she can even save Kanye a little money on a photographer.
