Kings of Leon drummer Nathan Followill is recovering from broken ribs after the band's tour bus narrowly avoided hitting a pedestrian. According to a post on the band's Facebook page, they were leaving a show in Boston when someone jumped in front of their tour bus. The bus driver was apparently forced to stop the bus suddenly, resulting in Followill's injury.

Kings of Leon have postponed their next show, which was scheduled for tonight in Sarasota Springs, N.Y. They said in the post that the show is postponed indefinitely, and fans are able to get a refund for their tickets if they'd like.

Up until this point, Kings of Leon have been doing well on this tour in support of 2013's 'Mechanical Bull' -- which is their first since 2011. Concert reviews seem to indicate that the band's hiatus, which they took after canceling 26 concerts during the last tour, was much-needed. The last performance of their foreshortened 2011 tour ended with singer Caleb Followill leaving the stage mid-show.

No word yet on whether any other shows will be canceled or postponed.
