A recent 16-second Kmart promotional clip announcing its 'Bogo Pogo' board game sale featured the digitally altered voice of a man singing about lights. The song in the commercial is 'Lights' by U.K. band Grasscut.

The promo opens with Grasscut singing, "The lights, the lights, the lights that light the lights" while two young kids jump and play in slow motion. The ad shows board games being unwrapped while a narrator explains Kmart's toy promotion, featuring a sale in which customers can buy one Hasbro board game and get another at 50 percent off. The sleigh bells heard in the commercial were added by Kmart to emphasize the holiday season and were not part of the original studio track.

Grasscut have earned praise from U.K. publications Mojo, Telegraph, Q and the BBC. 'Lights' is a poppy electronic tune with strings taken from the band's album 'Unearth.' The song was inspired by the Shell Grotto, an underground cave of shell mosaics in Margate, England. Grasscut have an active Facebook page with a modest following.
